About Bee-Spoke Quilts

How it all started...

I have been sewing for as long as I can remember, starting with making dolls clothes

as a child, and later progressing onto dressmaking and then quilting.

I attended courses and over the years have developed my own style and designs.

My aim is to give this traditional craft a contemporary twist with the use of

vibrant colours and bold designs.

My quilts are exhibited at national craft fairs throughout the UK

and have been featured in 'Country Living' and 'Aspire magazines'.

They are shipped worldwide.

Quilting Workshops...

Would you like to spend a relaxing and stress free day or weekend?

Would you like to learn to quilt or improve your quilting skills?

Come along to one of my quilting workshops, run regularly near Salisbury.

Expert tuition is given and groups are kept small so there is plenty of

opportunity for support.

Workshops are open to anyone who can already use a sewing machine

and would like to start quilting.

Quilting is a fun and sociable craft and great for de-stressing!

Contact Jacqueline by email or telephone for details and booking forms.

Here I am modelling a beautiful poppy themed wall hanging.

            About my quilts...

Every quilt is different and I frequently alter designs and colours so that your quilt is unique.

If you see a quilt that you like on my website I can repeat the design adapting it by using different fabrics and colour combinations.

All of my quilts are carefully handcrafted from quality cotton fabric which is pre-washed to prevent shrinkage.

The quilts contain wadding to add warmth and padding. This is usually polyester but cotton is available on request.

Each quilt is backed with interesting cotton fabrics so that both sides are attractive.

The quilts are available in a range of sizes, from cot size , or lap quilt to bed size. Lap quilts are great for personalising a room,

used as a sofa throw or wall hanging. A huge range of beautiful fabrics is available to suit any taste.

Below is my cat who is always happy to curl up on a quilt!

I make all the quilts myself in my home studio. I have a flair for combining colours to

create a strong visual impact

The inspiration for many of my designs comes from the countryside and creatures

which surround me, from pecking chickens, frisking horses and buzzing bees

to poppy fields and beautiful garden flowers.
